Effects of Heavy Metal Toxicity on Anxiety Disorder
نویسندگان
چکیده
Background: Several heavy metals are found naturally in the earth crust and exploited for various industrial economic purposes. Among these metals, a few have impact on human body. Though some of only effect physiology high doses, others such as cadmium, mercury, lead, chromium, silver, arsenic delirious effects body even minute quantities, causing acute chronic toxicities human. Anxiety is common psychiatric disorder among men women. Occasional anxiety may be normal part life. However, people with disorders frequently intense, excessive persistent worry fear about everyday situations. Often, involve repeated episodes sudden feelings intense or terror that reach peak within minutes (panic attacks). This study examined major environmental risk factor how adverse could ameliorated using zinc vitamin E. Methods: Animals used researched were grouped into four. Group 1 represents control group; 2 animals exposed metal (CaCl2); 3 to CaCl2 then treated zinc; 4 vit Results: Results showed exposure (CaCl2 particular) causes severe disorders. also E capacity ameliorate caused by metals. Conclusion: The should adequately protected man interacts prevent disorder, where patient becomes victim manage case.

Heavy Metal Toxicity
Heavy metals are metallic elements which have a high atomic weight and a density much greater (at least 5 times) than water. There are more than 20 heavy metals, but four are of particular concern to human health: lead (Pb), cadmium (Cd), mercury (Hg), and inorganic arsenic (As). According to the U.S. Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease Registry. These four heavy metals are four of the top ...
متن کاملHeavy Metal Toxicity
In general, irritable health concern related to heavy metal (accumulation) might be mainly divided into 2 types, i.e. heavy metal poisoning caused by excessive extrinsic exposure and genetic disorders such as Wilson disease (as reviewed by Osredkar et al. in this issue). As for the former type, unlike the latter one, it can be said that the health damage spread with the development of the civil...
متن کاملHeavy-Metal Toxicity—With Emphasis on Mercury
ticular concern are “heavy metals,” which occur naturally in the earth’s crust and are defined in physiochemical terms as metals with a density at least 5 times as great as water. This definition translates into an approximate heavy-metal minimum density of 5, and—in addition to cadmium, lead, and mercury—the metals zinc, copper, iron, cobalt, nickel, tin, manganese, and molybdenum also qualify...
متن کاملHeavy Metal Toxicity and ADHD
Cumulative evidence shows that the long-term prognosis for ADHD is poor, with higher rates of persistent psychiatric problems (Shekim et al., 1990), neurocognitive difficulties (Murphy et al., 2002), and academic struggles (Ratey et al., 1992). Many theoretical models have been put forward to explain the cause of ADHD (Barkley, 1997); however, it is largely recognized that it is a heterogeneous...
متن کاملHeavy metal toxicity: Effect on plant growth, biochemical parameters and metal accumulation by Brassica juncea L.
Plant growth, pigment concentration, biochemical parameters and uptake of heavy metals were determined for Brassica juncea L. in response to cadmium and lead stress. The plant exhibited a decline in growth, chlorophyll content and carotenoids with Cd and Pb but Cd was found to be more detrimental than Pb treatment in B. juncea. The protein content was decreased by Cd (900 μM) to 95% and 44% by ...
